What Does Your Car Being Stolen In a Dream Mean?

Outside of a house, a car is the most valuable possession many people own.

Consequently, for most people, the theft of a car in a dream represents the loss of something valuable.

The loss of the car in a dream can evoke despair or feelings you’ve got to make adjustments within the dream.

As with many symbols, a car appearing in a dream has multifaceted meanings, and the actual meaning to any one person can vary.

For example, someone who’s trying to sell a car in their waking life that nobody wants to buy for as much as they owe it might come up with a completely different interpretation of this kind of a dream.

The spiritual meaning of a car

The spiritual or symbolic value of a car in the dream often can reflect concerns about the loss of freedom, the increase of complications in life, or the need to rely on others for things that once were taken for granted.

Feelings about cars are often intertwined with feelings about beauty and performance.

Depending on the motor vehicle in question, however, such a dream can be reflective of feelings of frustration and a lack of reliability. Anyone who has bought and driven a “lemon” is familiar with such thoughts.

A car that’s not reliable can ruin plans for a day. If a thief steals such a car, the dreamer may well be glad.

Glad that’s off of my hands!

When a car is parked in the dream, and you can’t find it…

When you’re looking desperately for a car that you can’t seem to find, your subconscious might be pointing out that you took something valuable for granted. You trusted where you left it enough to leave it behind. Now you’ve lost it, and you’ll have to adjust. That is unless you can find it again. Will you ever take it for granted again?
